| The versatile
Model 4500 Mark II is a dual-pass transmissometer that offers a reliable and effective
solution to the problem of dust measurement in industrial flue gases.
With no moving parts, the optical measuring system of the Model 4500 is extremely
reliable. The patented 'Flood LED' technique enhances the stability of this instrument by
compensating for any drift in the photo-electric detectors.
The Model 4500 Mark II wholly complies with the latest EPA performance specifications (CFR
40 Part 60, App. B, PS-1).
Features:
An electronically modulated (LED) light source
No moving parts during measurement cycle
Automatic zero and span calibrations
A patented flood technique for continuous photo-detector compensation
Zero sensitivity to changes in ambient light
Automatic measurement and correction of optical contamination
Simultaneous opacity and dust monitoring capability
A built-in calibration audit filter fixture (zero-jig)
Independently configurable analog outputs
Instrument status and exceeding limit relays
RS232 / RS422 / MODBUS interface
Continuous and comprehensive self diagnostics
